  • TexMed 2026 is proud to continue offering a poster session as part of the conference agenda. This popular event allows TMA members to present their research to an audience of medical leaders and peers. Participating in the poster session is an excellent way to meaningfully engage with fellow attendees. All accepted posters will be presented Saturday, April 18 from 7:30 – 8:30 am, at the Hilliard Convention Center in Corpus Christi.

    One poster will be awarded a “People's Choice Award” by conference attendees. Voting will take place during the conference, and the winner will be recognized during the Closing Session on Saturday afternoon.

    Who’s Eligible?

    • Must be a TMA member at the time of TexMed (Not a TMA member? Click here to join).
    • One poster submission per member.

    • At least one member of the submission team MUST register for TexMed and be present at the poster session time below.

    Submission Details:

    • Deadline for submission: December 15, 2025

    • Notification of acceptance: February 13, 2026

    • Complete, formatted poster electronic file received: On or before March 16, 2026 (Late posters will not be accepted.)

    • Poster CME Session will take place on Saturday, April 18, 7:30 - 8:30 am.  It is requested that the presenter be at the poster during this time. Posters will be on display starting Friday morning.  Posters will remain on display for the duration of the conference.

    Poster Formatting Guidelines:

    • TMA will print and mount posters.

    • Poster files should be in a .PDF format only and formatted to 24"x36" (either portrait or landscape)

    • Detailed information on submitting your completed poster .PDF will be included in a follow-up email if your poster is accepted.

    • The Poster Session will include posters only. There will not be an option for electronic displays of any type.

    • You are encouraged to utilize a QR code or link on your poster to direct to additional educational materials if needed.

    • Posters will be set up by TMA staff on Friday morning.
  • The annual TexMed conference, which is a TMA member benefit, requires all presenters eligible for membership, to be members of the association.

    Please disclose all financial relationships that you have had in the past 24 months with ineligible companies.  An ineligible company is any entity whose primary business is producing, marketing, selling, re-selling, or distributing healthcare products used by or on patients.  For specific examples of ineligible companies visit accme.org/standards.
