The Resident and Fellow Section would like to present an annual award to honor the exceptional contributions of a resident or fellow who is an active member of the Texas Medical Association.
Criteria
This recognition is reserved for an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, active engagement, representation, resolution writing, and advocacy within the section.
To qualify for this award, nominees must have maintained active membership in the Texas Medical Association Resident and Fellow Section for a minimum of two years. Additionally, they must have attended at least two TexMed meetings during their tenure as a section member. Previous winners are ineligible for consideration.
Nominations will be accepted through Feb. 15. The TMA-RFS Executive Council and RFS representatives on the Boards, Councils, Committees will consider all nominees and select the award recipient. The award will be presented during the section meeting at TexMed where the award winner will receive a commemorative plaque in acknowledgment of this achievement.
